The 2008 Olympics were a triumph for everyone. As a coach it is so amazingly gratifying to see what can be done when you allow an investment in positivity to unleash itself.
China showed the world a spectacle that shut even the most hardened British cynic up.
It’s all about doing our best – all those fools who predicted smog, crowd problems and all other blah-blah problems – hey – They were WRONG! – let us uphold the good spirit that everyone gave to the world through this amazing spectacle – let us unite and pledge not to give the penny pinching armchair economists and doomsayers any air time. It will probably help to make the UK a better place.
Now all we need to do is get to work on the next big thing. LONDON 2012.
