An "Alcohol in the Workplace" survey of 1,500 people commissioned by insurance company Royal & SunAlliance, shows that one in six workers in the UK has been drunk at work within the past six months.
As the World Cup approaches things could get even more merry as an estimated 3 million employees (10% of the UK workforce) take time off to watch the football.
Apparently two million workdays have been lost because of a hangover in the past six months.
On a lighter side we have heard that around 20% of employers stated they will show England matches during office hours, and 12% stated that they would show all the World Cup matches.
